Development Update | May 6th, 2025
Hey folks, the new devlog has been out a few days now- what did you think? I felt like folks were fairly engaged with it based on the comments but as far as views and steam wishlists go it hasn't performed very well. I'm kind of taking this as proof that I should just be heads-down on working on the game for the time being.
Also, I recently passed the 1 year mark of working on this game! It's honestly hard to believe how far it has come, and I've continually been surprised by how positive the reception for it has been. The game is approaching 4k wishlists on steam, which is incredible for a game that doesn't even have a demo out, so I'm very excited to see where things go from here. I'm also considering making a "things I learned in my first year" style video- if I do, are there any topics you'd like to hear about?
Development-wise, the priority for now is getting things cleaned up for the steam playtest. There's actually a new 'announcement' on steam with more details about it, but basically I'm trying to get things polished up such that the influx of feedback I get from the steam playtest isn't full of issues I'm already aware of.
